Mountain Tour We have made several tours with Eric, also in the mountains and with our children, but this was our first "custommade" mountaintour with Eric AND Sanne. It was also their longest tour ever so they told us! We started in Nikkaluokta with blue skies and high temperatures. The first day was heavy for the dogs because the river we had to use was not completely frozen. I made a few dips in the water but we made it all save and sound. The sleds were still very heavy but the dogs never hesitated a moment and you could see that they were having great fun. This tour was unique because of the landscape and the tracks. We drove over untouched snow and we were so close to the mountains you could almost touch them. The weather changed constantly from lots of snow and stormy conditions to blue skies. Sanne and Eric were always equiped with all the necessary safety gear: GPS, satelite phone, first aid kit, emergency pack with food and shelter,...we never felt unsafe even the region we were in was very isolated. This was of course what we were looking for and what made this trip unique! We were spoiled with good food and snacks, cosy cabins with a warm welcome from the host, nothing to worry about. The dogs were amazing and even on very difficult steep hills or in deep snow they kept on pulling the sleds for us. Of course we helped them by stepping and pushing the sled. Their meal and snack afterwards was so well deserved. Although these are working dogs, they are very social and there's nothing they like more than a good cuddle from their temporary boss! By far the most beautiful expedition we made!

a unique experience and a fantastic day Unfortunately, we were only able to spend one day with dogs, but that was certainly not the last time. Great team, super campfire with soup and burnt buns ;-.). We are looking forward to the next time

Great day:) A great day and a nice treatment and welcome to the north of Sweden. All you need is there and the tour was amazing. I really suggest the tour with lunch. I didn´t think you fixed everything with the slede and the dogs yourself, but we did and that was a great experience. We even drove it ourselves.......... I can really recomend this to everyone! A great memory for both me and my friend:) Thanks to Eric & Sanne the crew and of course the lovley dogs!

Experience the Woof of the wild. Great treatment upon arrival, professional guides, Most of the equipment needed is included in the trip and provided (photos of you included), loving cooperation/relationship between dogs and guides(big family), good food. (Easy, Relaxing, Fun for the whole family) This is a great experience and I highly recommend it. More detailed review below. At first I was at a loss of words, it has taken a few days for the whole experience to sink in. We have heard of many tours like this and I've seen companies use the animals that they have on their tours like assets. So I would like to point out a few great things among many that stand out and makes this tour one of the top of the pack, especially when it comes to Eric & Sanne, their helpers, the wonderful dogs and their company "Yellow Snow Husky Tours". 1. (Arrival.) One of the first things that stands out is the treatment you receive upon arrival. You get a warm relaxed welcome and its more of a feeling at home. 2. (Equipment) Some tours want you to bring most if not all the equipment needed for the trip, but not here. I would like to say that you can arrive in just Jeans & a T-shirt "Not recommended". But if you don't have (overalls, socks, shoes, gloves, jacket) then they have got you covered! + As an extra, no need for a camera! The guide asks for your e-mail adress and will do their best to takes photos for you, so you can relax and enjoy the experience 3. (The dogs) Have to say, that the wonderful personalities we met, before going on the sleds was awesome, if you are the only one there you are greeted with about 30+ happy, barking, running, tail wagging dogs, either it is (Tyson the ego "I want everyone for myself" old man) or (Nurik the energetic, social "I wanna run now" youngster). You will also get a chance to get a brush up from the (I want to cuddle) blind sled veteran Moland. To name a few. 4. (The cooperation between man and dog) Like I said in the beginning this one of the best things about "Yellow Snow Husky Tours" The thing that stands out the most is the affection and good relationship between the guides and the dogs. Its a warm fluffy family feeling to see the dogs and the people interact. The first thing you get to do is familiarize yourself with the dogs that are gonna pull your sled, you get to help to put on the harness and position the dogs at their place in the pull line. (A lot of petting is always a +). 5. (The trip) Another thing is that you get to drive the sled yourself not just ride. You get good instructions from the guide, the guide is always in front helping you with the speed, route, stopping to let the dogs rest and taking pictures of you. All you need to do is follow the instructions and enjoy the ride. 5. (To sum up it all) Me and my wife, we had a great experience, Sanne is a wonderful chef, baker and Eric is a guy that can do a lot of things, great at answering questions, an awesome guide, sled instructor, coffee maker, dog handler. Love the dogs, their personalities and the people of Yellow Snow Husky Tours. Thank you again Eric & Sanne, helpers and all the dogs! We will be back!

Great dog sledding experience with a great guide I bought a 2,5 hour tour for my boyfriend as a birthday present, and it was a success (both for me and for him)! Our guide was wonderful and it was very easy to follow her instructions. The dogs were wonderful and appreciated a good scratch behind the ear. We got to borrow warm clothes so we stayed warm and cozy throughout the entire tour (even though the weather was a bit rough). Highly recommend this to anyone who is up for trying something new and want to experience the charm of the Swedish forest in a truly exciting way!

Amazing tour! We had a great day. The kids loved helping with the dogs and sledding themselves. The tour was magical. The world just looks really good covered in snow. A day to remember.
