Welkom op onze website.
Wij hebben hieronder in het kort beschreven wie we zijn en wat we doen. De rest van onze website is in het Engels.
Uiteraard kun je ons altijd een email sturen in het Nederlands met je wensen en/of vragen. We helpen je graag verder.
WIE ZIJN WIJ?
Ik ben Sanne, een professionele musher en wildernis gids. Ik ben opgegroeid in Nederland, maar verlangde naar een leven midden in de natuur. Om die reden ben ik in 2010 naar Scandinavie verhuisd.
Ik woon in een klein dorpje in Noord Zweden, midden in de bossen en naast een prachtig meer.
Hier nodig ik je uit voor een onvergetelijk avontuur!
Natuurlijk is dit niet mogelijk zonder de huskies. Deze lieverds zijn mijn collega’s, mijn familie en mijn beste vrienden!
OVER YELLOW SNOW HUSKY TOURS
Yellow Snow Husky Tours is een klein hondenslede bedrijf, gevestigd in Zweeds Lapland, 1 uur ten noorden van Lulea.
Hier bieden we, zowel in de winter en de zomer, allerlei soorten husky-tochten aan.
Onze focus is natuurlijk de winter en met name de langere husky tours. Om samen met de honden een hele dag de natuur in te trekken is een fantastische ervaring! Reis door een prachtig landschap, bewonder de kracht en het plezier van de huskies en leer alles over deze buitengewone dieren. We organiseren ook meerdaagse husky safaris waarbij we slapen in comfortabele wildernishutten.
Te gast bij ons kun je even helemaal weg zijn van het vaak hectische leven en genieten van hele simpele dingen: Actief zijn in de natuur, team spirit met je hondenteam, een knisperend vuurtje, quality time met vrienden of familie en uiteraard lekker eten.
Alle tochten zijn geschikt voor iedereen: jong en oud, met of zonder ervaring. Al onze tours zijn 100% privé, je deelt de tour dus alleen met jouw gezelschap en natuurlijk één van ons als gids. Op die manier zijn we erg flexibel om het avontuur naar jouw wensen en kunnen aan te passen.

Amazing experience
In January this year I had the most wonderful experience with my friend in Sweden. We went on a 4-day tour with the dogs and Erik during which we stayed in 3 wilderness cabins. It was beautiful, amazing and breathtaking. The dogs are really sweet and love to cuddle and Erik and Sanne treat them as family so it is lovely to see how happy the dogs are. Especially when they can do what they love most: sledding!

A very special adventure with incredibly special dogs
What an incredible experience! Erik was very patient with us and thoroughly explained how to navigate the sled and after only about 5 minutes we were both very comfortable with it. And the dogs!! I cannot say enough about how special they all are. They love pulling the sled and they are experts at it. And even tough they are working they still love hugs and pats. This was an experience we will never forget.

I cannot say enough about how special they all are. They love pulling the sled and they are experts at it. And even tough they are working they still love hugs and pats. 6 dagen met onze groep ( hiking & adventures) de kungsleden tocht vanaf Abisko ge- sneeuwwandeld met Sanne en Erik. Sanne en Erik hebben de tocht begeleid en het eten in de hutten verzorgd. Wat een geweldige lieve mensen met passie voor de natuur en hun mooie huskys. Zelden zo'n lief, leuk en gezellig stel ontmoet. Dank jullie wel lieve Sanne en Erik. Ik kom zeker terug.xxx

Wat een geweldige lieve mensen met passie voor de natuur en hun mooie huskys. Zelden zo'n lief, leuk en gezellig stel ontmoet. Dank jullie wel lieve Sanne en Erik. Ik kom zeker terug.xxx

We did a 5 day mountain tour with Sanne, Erik and their amazing huskies and had such a unique experience! First of all the dogs are just the sweetest cuddlers and at the same time the strongest and most hard-working companions. We had the same team every day and grew really close to them. It’s such a pleasure to take care of them to show our appreciation for their pulling.
Sanne and Erik are great guides who took fantastic care of us! They treat theirs dogs with immense love, have loads of experience and spoiled us with delicious home cooked and baked meals (cinnamon buns warmed over open fire, no need to say more, right?!).
On the tour we had a stunning scenery, went through beautiful valleys, crossed majestic lakes and passed over windy mountain tops. In the night we got to experience breathtaking Aurora borealis, a full moon and a zillion stars.
We will be back for sure and can only recommend everyone to get in touch with Yellow Snow Husky Tours!

First of all the dogs are just the sweetest cuddlers and at the same time the strongest and most hard-working companions. We had the same team every day and grew really close to them. It’s such a pleasure to take care of them to show our appreciation for their pulling.
Sanne and Erik are great guides who took fantastic care of us! They treat theirs dogs with immense love, have loads of experience and spoiled us with delicious home cooked and baked meals (cinnamon buns warmed over open fire, no need to say more, right?!).

We went on a 3 day tour and had a fantastic time. It was all about the dogs and nature. A real suprise to see the eagerness of the dogs to run and how much they loved to be cuddled as well. Nurik is my favorite, so focused and looking great!
The winter wonderland was amazing and the homemade treats of Sanne tasted deligious. The cabins warmed up well, and we truly enjoyed the woodfire stove that - securely closed - spread its warm glow through the bedroom at night.
